7 Key Action Steps to Interpreting and Diagramming the JDE Automation Process

Visualization of any JDE process makes it less complicated for the humans who seek to consume the problem, dissect it, and give it meaning. The resulting JDE end-data starts the journey as data input into algorithms and conclusions based on the input, is better digested visually. Visualization of JDE data is its own semantic.

In this Keynote, we discuss The Components of JDE Automation and educate you on heuristics and a “systems mindset”. When diagramming a process, everyone must agree that an apple is an apple. So what does this mean? It means getting prepared to discuss the problem in a common language, with your SMEs who are all at the table. Talking about undocumented processes produces a dialog creating a synergy for documenting those processes so the organization has access to all the variables.

Breakout Sessions

Education Breakout Session/Series #1

9:20AM – 10:00AM

Granite Construction Achieves Continuous Improvement with Automation

I Learn ERP & DWS

Granite Construction set out on a journey of continuous improvement with a goal of staying code current.  Between upgrades, ESUs and tools releases, a common bottleneck was the time it takes to test.  Rounding up users, writing and executing scripts and validating results had them taking up to 6 months to complete an upgrade, but with Swift Test from DWS – they were able to fully automate their testing process.  And when they needed help loading up to 1,000 scripts, iLearnERP (as a DDWS partner) was there to provide these services and accelerate the scripting timeline.  At the end, testing automation has delivered a massive reduction in overall upgrade time and allowed Granite to move forward on their continuous improvement journey.

Using JDE Release 22, Swift (low Code / No Code) and Orchestrator to automate, mobilize and optimize your business.

Ephlux

  1. Leverage the automation, optimization and transformation of JD Edwards Release 22 and Orchestrator

Security Assessments: Uncover Hidden Risks and Inefficiencies in your JD Edwards Security

QSoftware

Many JD Edwards users sense that they have issues with their security model or SoD set-up, but they don’t know how to work out what’s wrong, let alone how to start putting it right.  For example:

  • Are your JD Edwards user and security administration costs / turnaround times spiraling out of control?
  • Have you experienced audit findings around logical access controls that you need to address quicly, but can’t figure out where to start with remediation?
  • Do you find it difficult to understand your SoD ruleset and how it relates to managing risk in your business? Is it producing a lot of SoD violations that you just can’t make sense of?

A security assessment can deliver valuable, meaningful insights into your vulnerabilities, and identify priorities for remediation.

Attend this session to find out:

  • The benefits of security assessments
  • What they should contain
  • How often they should be carried out

Reporting Tools Consolidation

ReportsNow (TBD)

Sooner or later, nearly every company finds itself owning multiple reporting software tools that have conflicting requirements, overlapping functionality, and different interfaces.  These technologies often become obsolete or fall into disuse.  Over time, employee training and adoption across the enterprise, coupled with the need to support a multitude of solutions, becomes a costly IT and HR liability.  Mismatched technologies force users to retrieve partial data from different tools, resulting in inaccurate reporting.

In contrast, DAS and Mobie ® work cohesively with JD Edwards and connect to multiple data sources to create the critically important single source of truth.  By consolidating to one vendor, you can realize the financial benefit of seamless operation.  ReportsNow offers a sustainable reporting solution and will help you prevent wasteful spending.  Join us to learn more about how tool consolidation can be an asset for your enterprise.

  • Understand if your existing reporting tools align with your BI vision
  • Eliminate duplication of reporting across the organization
  • Make faster decisions by spending less time gathering data and more time analyzing information
  • Standardize communications so the right reports are delivered at the right time and to the right people
  • Improve resource utilization across the organization by training and hiring for one skillset
  • Manage a single, secure solution that lets you report across data sources, enhance your reports, and streamline your visualizations
